How do I connect my Sensi to Wi-Fi?

New Installation

Installation and setup are easy. You’ll need:

• A smart device running an updated iOS or Android version (see your app store listing for details)
• Search “Sensi” in your app store, and download the free Sensi app
• Your home Wi-Fi network name and password that you are connecting the Sensi to.
  • Sensi is only compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks
  • Sensi is incompatible with some routers. Check router compatibility article.

Sensi Setup

Once the Sensi app is downloaded:

• Create an account using your email address, and sign into the app.
• Tap the plus (+) sign.
• Tap your Sensi model.
• Tap New Installation.
• Tap whether the thermostat is still in the box (Not Mounted) or whether the thermostat is already wired on the wall, controlling your HVAC system (Is Currently Mounted).
• Follow the step-by-step instructions.
  • The process will be different depending on your smart device and Sensi model.

Reconnecting/New Router

If your Sensi has been installed for a while, and you need to reconnect it to Wi-Fi again, it may be a different process than it was originally to set up.

Get instructions based on your Sensi model and the type of smart device you’re using to connect again (iOS/Android).
