Hey Alexa - Help me save energy!
One of the many benefits of having a Sensi smart thermostat is creating a more energy efficient home leading to greater environmental sustainability and cost savings. It allows you to control temperatures from across the room or from anywhere you can tap into the Sensi app. Now with a special partnership, your Sensi smart thermostat can connect to the new, Amazon energy dashboard, so you can monitor and manage your heating and cooling – and your other smart home devices – through Alexa.
Download the Amazon Alexa app to set up your energy dashboard
- Open the app store on your mobile device.
- Search for Amazon Alexa app.
- Select Install.
- Select Open.
After you install the Amazon Alexa app, you will need to connect your Sensi smart thermostat and any other smart home devices to Alexa.
On the Sensi app, go to your Account Settings by clicking the icon on the right side of your screen. Then click on “Smart Integrations”. Here you will be able to connect your Sensi smart thermostat directly to Alexa.

Being able to see all your smart devices in one place makes it easy to track usage and energy consumed so you can spot trends and make better choices. In addition, you can control any smart device remotely. For example, if you forget to turn off your light when you leave home, you’ll get an alert. Alexa can also recommend energy saving routines, like turning down your thermostat an hour after bedtime during the winter.
In addition, the Alexa app will provide recommendations to help you reduce your carbon footprint. Get tips on controlling your Sensi smart thermostat that will help you save energy and run your HVAC equipment more efficiently, so it will last longer.
