How do I add the keypad lockout feature to my existing Sensi thermostat?

The keypad lockout feature was released in an over-the-air firmware update to all connected Sensi thermostats in June of 2015. You do not need to purchase a new Sensi thermostat to take advantage of this new feature. However, you will need the latest firmware and the latest app version to access keypad lockout.

Keypad lockout is available for thermostats with firmware version 9.06 and the following app versions:

• iOS version 1.10 or greater
• Android version 1.091 or greater

Check your firmware and app versions from your Sensi app.

1. Open the Sensi app and select the thermostat you want to view from the dashboard screen
2. (iOS users) Navigate to Settings by selecting the gear icon at the top right of the screen. (Android users) Navigate to Settings by selecting the three-dot menu button at the top right of the screen
3. Select About thermostat
   • App Version: If you have an app version that is earlier than 1.10 (iOS) or 1.091 (Android), download the latest app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store
   • Thermostat Firmware Version: If you have a thermostat firmware version that is earlier than 9.06, wait 24 hours after you’ve successfully connected to Wi-Fi.
