How do I change and set the time on my Sensi Thermostat?
Using Sensi With Wi-Fi
If you plan on connecting your Sensi to Wi-Fi, the time will automatically update based on the time zone you choose when you register your thermostat. This includes any daylight savings events.
My Sensi is online, but the time is wrong
If your Sensi thermostat is online and available in the Sensi app, but the time isn't correct, double check the time zone in the Sensi app for your thermostat.
- Open the Sensi app.
- Tap on your thermostat name.
- Tap on the settings gear.
- Tap on "Name, Location, & Time."
- Tap on the Time Zone section, and select the general time zone that is reflective of where you are:
- For example, US Eastern Time should be set to America/New York For US Mountain Time: America/Denver, and so forth.
- If your time zone shows a specific region like America/Detroit or America/Boise, try changing it to America/New York or America/Denver, respectively, to update to the general time zone.
